Tirupati Laddu Gets Geogorphical Copy Right.that bars others from naming/making.tirupati laddu,under the same name temple applied for Geographical indication(GI)With the chennai/madras based GI-REGISTRY in march last year(2008).the other popular brands got GI Champagne and teqnilla.and the other indian products to have GI-TAG include Darjeeling Tea,Madhuban Paintings and GOA-FENI.
